Ipswich town centre this afternoon, a lovely 'Merry-Go-Round' in the town square. Cheered up the dull grey misty weather.

A little Christmas present from me to me! The man bought me the pearls though!
Wednesday 29 December 2010
I liked the wonkiness and multi-colouredness of this wreath. It wasn't purple in real-life... but the lighting in the bar seemed to make it so in this picture.
Outside an Amusement Arcade in Clacton -on -Sea. There is a level of tackiness here that is in its purest form. Yes, they are Meerkats in Santa outfits......I couldn't believe it either!

This was the roof of a building in Macau.
Last few days of Christmas Decs before they all come down. I know tradition says 6 Jan but as I am back at work by then I normally do mine on New Years Day.

Hong Kong Disney... a very pretty but little castle.
Not been too well over Christmas, not sure these worked but they tasted nice....well what I could taste of them!

The view from Kowloon towards Hong Kong island. A lot of the buildings had full sized decorations all on their sides... very impressive.
One of the good things about Christmas is having a box of British Cheeses from Neals Yard.....think I overdid the quantities this year....there was only four of us!

This was the crowd which greeted us on the way home from our Christmas eve celebrations. Who knows where they were all heading ?
Annual Christmas card competition, this year cards had lots of glitter, robins and the Three Kings! Here are my favourites. Merry Christmas!

I love a lantern... these ones were in the Mueseum of Hong Kong. They're paper and and are hung up at weddings in Hong Kong. Once the wedding is over the paper is burned, but the little oil burners inside are kept and given as lucky gifts for fertility.
Christmas Eve sunset, Santa is on his way.
Thursday 23 December 2010
We visited this Buddha, which is the largest sitting, bronze Bhudda in the world. He was very handsome. The cable car ride and climb were well worth it.
I never thought the day would come, eggspecially on Christmas Eve, eve. Our hens have laid us our first eggs. Great eggcitement, how will we eat them, fried, boiled or what?
Wednesday 22 December 2010
On our way to Honkers... we stopped off for a few hours and a quick tour of Brunei.
Service of Lessons and Carols tonight in Southwark Cathedral. I can recommend Dormi Jesu by John Rutter. Beautiful.

We opened our presents with Mum and Dad... over Skype of course.
These look so pathetic in the snow, I knew I should have cleared them out in the Autumn!

Our Christmas dinner... a few days early - but we're off to Hong Kong in a few days : )
My favourite tree of all, hanging on it are holiday souveniers, things that my daughters made when they were small, decorations that I remember as a child, gifts and memories.
Saturday 18 December 2010
Look what came in the post for my British themed tree!
My 'little' tree, the Fairy on the top is very old.

This year for the Christmas decorating competition, we recreated the Nativity. This was one of the scenes that a very talented lady I work with painted. - Oh we won the competition as well... I was my Angel 1,2,3 and 4 that stole the show!
I love the fact that the guys at our local railway station bother to put up a tree. 'Elf & Safety dictates that the tree must be fenced off so they even put tinsel on the tape. Well done guys good effort!
Thursday 16 December 2010
This was a Christmas card from last year. It's so nice I saved it and have added to my Christmas decoration collection.
This is in the window opposite where I work. Apart from the fact the tree rotates and is lit up at night, it is completely decorated/covered with shreded paper, the only other decorations are random letters. Brilliant!Wednesday 15 December 2010
I love tinsel and purple is my favourite colour.
Liverpool Street station. A very large tree with plain blue lights. What a pity they don't put it in the middle of the concourse. Instead it's tucked away on the Upper Level of the station by the War Memorial.
Tuesday 14 December 2010
One of my Christmas presents that I was allowed to open early from my lil sis. Fanks H! x
'Our' office tree, plain and simple, baubles in the colour of advent and beads. The colour of advent happens to be a lucky strike.....I just like purple!
Monday 13 December 2010
